To me art has always been a way to look through someone else’s eyes. It is a way to view the world as somebody else sees it. I hope that when people look at my work they are able to see the world through my eyes. I want people to be able to see things as I see them. I want people to be able to feel the way I feel. My hope is that people will be able to look at my art and be able to step out of their comfort zone. That they may understand someone else’s side or point of view.

I would describe my work as fantasy meeting reality. I like to take reality and change it in a way that may help people understand what I am trying to portray. For an example, my anxiety can be changed into a monster or someone I admire could become a powerful sorceress or fairy. I always loved fantasy stories of other worlds and through my art I have been able to create my own world.
